Position Overview:
We invite expressions of interest from enthusiastic Mathematics educators dedicated to inspiring a love for learning and enriching the dynamic community at Dubai American Academy, with opportunities commencing in August 2026.
This role presents an exciting chance for Middle School Mathematics educators who are passionate about fostering curiosity, motivating achievement, and ensuring the success of every student at DAA.
•
Deliver captivating and interactive Mathematics lessons to students, adhering to the school's curriculum and educational standards.
•
Create and apply innovative and effective teaching methods to instill a love for Mathematics and develop critical thinking skills.
•
Work collaboratively with colleagues to foster a positive and supportive learning atmosphere.
•
Ensure consistency in the delivery of curriculum content.
•
Tailor instruction to accommodate the diverse learning needs of students.
•
Cultivate a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes curiosity and exploration.
•
Engage in parent-teacher conferences and maintain open lines of communication with parents regarding student progress.
Successful candidates will need:
•
A Bachelor of Education degree, or an initial degree in a relevant subject area, along with a teaching qualification such as a PGCE/PGDE/teaching license or Level 5 equivalent specialization in Mathematics.
•
Demonstrated experience teaching Middle School Mathematics, ideally within an American/IB curriculum setting.
•
In-depth understanding of inquiry-based learning and practical Mathematics education.
•
Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
•
Capacity to build solid relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
•
A commitment to continuous professional development and delivering exceptional teaching and learning experiences for students.
