Established in 2017, Majestic International College (MIC) is distinguished as a CIS membership school and a noted private high school offering an English-language-based curriculum. In June 2025, MIC celebrated the graduation of its seventh group of students, highlighting its dedication to academic excellence and international benchmarks.

Art & Design Subject Teacher

Basic requirements for candidates:

1. A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is required; a master’s degree or higher is preferred, along with overseas educational qualifications.

2. Professional teaching certifications such as PGCE or a subject-specific teaching license are preferred.

3. At least 2 years of teaching experience in related fields.

4. A minimum of two years of experience in international schools.

5. Familiarity with teaching one or more of the following: IB, AP, A-levels, and IGCSE.

6. Strong proficiency in English to serve as the language of instruction and in the workplace, with an understanding of the need for technical literacy in teaching the subject to Chinese students in English.

7. A professional attitude towards teaching that aligns with MIC’s mission and values, including commitment to teamwork, perseverance, and accountability.

8. Experience working with enthusiastic and motivated Chinese students aged 15-17.

9. A demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development and willingness to engage in school-based in-service training.

Employment Benefits for a 2-year contract period

C&B Package: Competitive with the local international school's HR market, taking into account factors such as years of relevant teaching experience, educational background, degree/certificate, and the level of workload/commitment for each position. The pre-tax annual package ranges from CNY 240,000 to CNY 400,000.

Welfare package:

1. Flight allowance:
Option 1: 9,500 CNY per academic year.
Option 2: Reimbursement for one round trip (at the start and end of the contract) between home country and China; an allowance of 9,500 CNY will be disbursed between the first and second years of the contract.

2. A monthly allowance of 3,000 CNY for housing and transportation if living off-campus, or a free on-campus modern apartment furnished with all necessary amenities.

3. Daily meal allowance of 15 CNY, totaling approximately 330 CNY per month.

4. Paid summer and winter vacations, along with all Chinese public holidays and Christmas holidays.

5. Health insurance coverage.

6. Work VISA sponsorship.

7. A renewal bonus of 10,000 CNY for every academic year.

8. Relocation fee of 1,000 CNY.
