Position Overview:

We invite passionate Biology educators to express their interest in joining our vibrant community at Dubai American Academy, with positions available starting August 2026.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver dynamic and interactive Biology lessons that align with the school’s curriculum and educational standards.

Design and implement innovative teaching methods that cultivate a love for Biology and promote critical thinking.

Ensure consistent delivery of the curriculum content.

Engage in parent-teacher conferences and maintain clear communication with parents regarding student progress.

Successful candidates will possess:

•
A Bachelor of Education degree or an initial degree in a relevant subject area, along with a recognized teaching qualification such as a PGCE/PGDE or a Level 5 equivalent specialization in Biology.

Demonstrated experience teaching High School Biology, ideally in an American or IB curriculum setting.

•
Strong expertise in inquiry-based learning and experiential Biology education.

•
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

•
Capacity to establish strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.

•
