About This Role
We are on the lookout for a skilled and dedicated Mathematics Teacher who has a keen passion for Middle School education to become part of our Secondary team. This position primarily involves instructing Mathematics for Grades 7–8, utilizing the Singapore curriculum, while also preparing students for the Cambridge pathways in Grades 9–12.
Key Responsibilities
•
Deliver engaging and effective Mathematics lessons for Grades 7–8 that adhere to the Singapore curriculum.
•
Facilitate a seamless transition to Cambridge IGCSE Mathematics in Grade 9 and subsequent years.
•
Implement successful assessment methods to track, support, and communicate student progress.
•
Tailor instruction to accommodate various learning needs and foster robust mathematical reasoning.
•
Participate in curriculum development, collaborative teamwork, and after-school initiatives.
•
Create and sustain a positive, inclusive, and well-organized learning atmosphere.
Requirements
•
A degree in Mathematics or a related discipline, accompanied by a recognized teaching qualification.
•
Prior experience teaching Mathematics at the Middle School level is preferred.
•
Knowledge of the Singapore curriculum is beneficial; however, a willingness to learn is crucial.
•
A strong dedication to professional development and the principles of international education.
