Whole School Art Teacher

Yas School is on the lookout for an exceptional Whole School Art Teacher to become a part of our community starting in August 2026 for the academic year 2026-2027, or sooner if feasible.

Yas School follows the Ministry of Education (MOE) curriculum, emphasizing inclusive education, enrichment, and equipping students for the future. Established in 2015, we stand as the largest single-campus K-12 government school, catering to over 1750 boys and girls on our expansive grounds.

We are looking for a seasoned educator with a background in UK or US curricula, and preferably experience with the UAE Ministry of Education (MOE) curriculum.

In your role at Yas School, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective lessons that contribute to students’ academic achievements, personal development, and overall well-being. You will be instrumental in empowering students to realize their full potential, preparing them to succeed as competitive global citizens while embracing and promoting the UAE’s heritage and Emirati identity.

As an educator, you will nurture strong connections and maintain open lines of communication with parents, colleagues, and students, ensuring that academic and behavioral standards align with the school’s ethos and policies. The ideal candidate should meet the following criteria:

• Hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Education or a Post Graduate Diploma in Education in the relevant subject area.
• A Master’s Degree in Education/Educational Leadership or a related field is advantageous.
• Exhibit proficiency in English, evidenced by a minimum IELTS score of 6 or equivalent.
• Bilingual abilities in English and Arabic are highly preferred.
• Possess a UAE Certified Teaching License or equivalent, or be in the process of obtaining one.
• Have a minimum of 2 years of classroom teaching experience.
