Position Overview:
We invite enthusiastic Mathematics educators committed to instilling a passion for learning and enriching the vibrant community at Dubai American Academy. Opportunities are available starting August 2026.
This position is a fantastic chance for Mathematics teachers dedicated to fostering curiosity, promoting achievement, and contributing to the success of every student at DAA.
• Provide engaging and interactive Mathematics instruction, adhering to the school's curriculum and educational standards.
• Create and implement innovative teaching strategies that inspire a love for Mathematics and develop critical thinking abilities.
• Collaborate with fellow educators to cultivate a positive and supportive learning atmosphere.
• Ensure consistent delivery of curriculum content.
• Differentiate teaching methods to accommodate the varied learning needs of students.
• Promote a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages exploration and curiosity.
• Engage in parent-teacher conferences and maintain open lines of communication with parents about student progress.
Successful candidates will possess:
• A Bachelor of Education degree or an initial degree in a relevant subject area, complemented by a teaching qualification such as a PGCE/PGDE/teaching license or Level 5 equivalent specialization in Mathematics.
• Demonstrated experience teaching High School Mathematics, ideally in an American/IB curriculum setting.
• Strong understanding of inquiry-based learning and experiential Mathematics education.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to establish strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
• A genuine commitment to ongoing professional development and delivering exceptional teaching and learning experiences for students.
