We are thrilled to announce a vacancy for a full-time Online IBDP English and Extended Essay (EE) teacher, set to commence in August 2026 for the upcoming school year.

Position Details
- Job Title: Full-time Online English and Extended Essay Teacher
- Employment Type: Full-time
- Work Hours: 09:00 AM - 17:00 PM (Japan Standard Time)
- Contract Duration: August 2026 – July 2029 (renewable)
- Curriculum: Online IB Diploma Programme (IBDP)
- Educational Level: High/Secondary School
- Subjects Covered: English A Language and Literature (SL/HL), English B (SL/HL), Extended Essay
- Teaching Scope: DP Year 1 and Year 2
Location
- Location: Remote (Online). Candidates should ideally be within 4 hours of the Japan time zone.
Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging and effective online instruction for designated subjects.
- Develop lesson plans and assessments, providing timely feedback to students.
- Support student learning and adjust teaching methods to meet diverse learning needs.
- Collaborate with colleagues within the department and the wider school community.
- Participate in and contribute to online campus social events, student extracurricular activities, and initiatives that promote school culture.
Skills and Qualifications
- A Bachelor's degree or higher.
- A minimum of 3 years of teaching experience, preferably in an IB curriculum or similar international education programs.
- Excellent proficiency in both spoken and written English, suitable for teaching IBDP English A and B subjects at Higher Level.
- Skilled in delivering online education through digital platforms.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities in an international context.
