About This Role
Essential Requirements
1. A minimum of 2 years of recent successful teaching experience, preferably in an International school setting.
2. Graduate qualified teacher.
3. Bachelor’s degree in a relevant subject area.
4. Qualified Teacher Status with evidence of suitable subsequent in-service training.
5. Proven experience in working with students in the appropriate age group.
6. Demonstrated ability to inspire students within a dynamic learning environment.
7. Experienced in utilizing ICT to enhance learning.
Desirable
1. A Master’s degree would be an advantage.
2. Experience teaching EAL students.
3. Familiarity with delivering IGCSE and A Level curriculum.
4. Previous experience in an international school and understanding of the British education system.
5. Evidence of setting clear goals and objectives for students that have led to significant achievement improvements across the subject.
6. Knowledge and understanding of effective positive disciplinary methods.
7. Understanding of child development and its influence on behavior.
