Essential Requirements

• A minimum of 2 years of recent, successful teaching experience
• Graduate-level qualified teacher status
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant subject area
• Qualified Teacher Status, along with evidence of pertinent in-service training
• Demonstrated experience working with the age group you will be teaching
• Proven capability to motivate students within an engaging learning environment
• Experience in leveraging ICT to enhance the learning experience

Desirable

• A Master’s degree is advantageous
• Experience in teaching EAL (English as an Additional Language) students
• Familiarity with IGCSE and A Level teaching
• Background in an international school setting and understanding of the British education framework
• Demonstrated ability to set clear goals and objectives for students, leading to significant improvements in achievement across subjects
• Knowledge of positive behavior management strategies
• Understanding of child development and its impact on behavior
• Potential for a Head of Year position for candidates with suitable experience
