Teacher of Music

The Priory Academy LSST, one of the UK’s top performing state
schools, is looking for a Teacher of Music to join our
successful, passionate, and ambitious Music department in
an Academy, where music
is valued and the facilities are good.
We are fortunate to have a music block, two purpose built classrooms, several
practice rooms, and two large halls, in which to stage performances.

We are seeking to appoint a well-qualified and enthusiastic Music
Teacher to join our vibrant and committed team of specialist staff.
A sound understanding
of musical theory and practice is essential and an ability to teach Music to A
Level would be desirable.

All students have one hour per week in KS3 and we have
healthy group numbers at GCSE
and A Level.  A
large number of students participate in a wealth of
extracurricular musical activities, and we provide many performance
opportunities, including a Christmas Concert, an annual musical production,
an Easter Concert and a Summer Arts Extravaganza.
