Teaching Assistant - SEND

Key Responsibilities:

You will work closely with class teachers and the SENCO to provide support for SEND pupils with complex needs. You will support them with accessing the curriculum, developing independence, and to thrive socially and emotionally.

• Support the classroom teacher in delivering lessons and maintaining a positive learning environment.
• Assist students individually or in small groups to reinforce learning concepts.
• Prepare and organise classroom materials and resources
• Communicate effectively with teachers, students, and parents when required.

Essential criteria:

• English and Maths GCSE, Grade C/4 or equivalent

Desirable Criteria:

• Experience working with children with SEND and complex needs
