About This Role
Teacher of Physics
We are seeking, for August 2026, a Secondary Physics Teacher to join our successful Science Department at our main Windsor Park campus, who wishes to be part of a professionally dynamic, supportive and forward thinking learning community.
About our school
Bromsgrove International School, Thailand, is a thriving co-educational day and boarding school for over 520 students aged 2 to 18. We follow the English National Curriculum, adapted to suit our international context, from EYFS through to IGCSE, A Levels and BTEC pathways.
As an affiliate of Bromsgrove School UK, one of Britain’s most respected independent schools with over 450 years of history, we draw on that rich educational heritage while embracing innovation and international-mindedness. Our aim is to help every student become a confident, curious and compassionate global citizen who enjoys the process of learning as much as the outcome.
We are an Education Development Trust (EDT) Outstanding and CIS member school, proudly part of FOBISIA, with two campuses: our Early Years campus (Pre-Nursery to Year 1) and our main Windsor Park campus (Year 2–13), set in the peaceful grounds of Windsor Park Golf Course on the outskirts of Bangkok. The area offers a relaxed lifestyle with good local housing options within 30 minutes of school, and a daily staff bus service for convenience.
Over recent years, Bromsgrove has grown markedly — in numbers, reputation, and ambition — becoming the school of choice for families in Eastern Bangkok.
We are looking for outstanding practitioners who wish to be part of a professionally dynamic, supportive and forward thinking learning community. We’re looking for a teacher who genuinely enjoys working with others — someone flexible, good humoured, but with high expectations and professional pride to match.
We offer
- A competitive international salary and benefits package, benchmarked against leading schools in the region.
- A genuinely supportive, collaborative community where ideas are shared freely; we have a team that enjoys working together.
- The chance to live and work in a beautiful part of Thailand, with professional growth and wellbeing valued equally.
Role profile
We’re looking for a teacher who genuinely enjoys working with others — someone flexible, good humoured, but with high expectations and professional pride to match.
The Science Department achieves outstanding results in external examinations each year in both IGCSE and A Level and we are looking for a candidate with experience and knowledge of teaching across the 11-18 age-range; leading the department's physics provision at the top end of the school is a key element of this position. The ability to offer mathematics as a second subject is also desirable but not essential. A number of our students are very able scientists who go on to study at the world's top universities.
The successful candidate will need to be
A qualified teacher (BEd or PGCE/GTP equivalent), with at least two years of experience teaching in a UK or British international school setting.
Confident in delivering the English National Curriculum with creativity, rigour, and adaptability.
Skilled at using technology to enhance teaching and learning, not replace it.
Able to motivate children through relationships built on trust, respect, and warmth.
A reflective practitioner who’s comfortable experimenting, learning, and adapting — someone who doesn’t jump at every new trend, but knows how to integrate meaningful innovations over time.
A true team player who brings positivity, flexibility, and balance to school life.
Above all, we want teachers who put people at the centre of all they do and who understand that learning is about the journey, not just the results.
If you wish to apply for this post, please follow the link and complete an application form for the position. You will also need to upload an up-to-date curriculum vitae and provide details of at least three professional referees, one of whom should be your current or most recent employer.
Bromsgrove International School Thailand is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. Applicants must be willing to undergo child protection screening, including an ICPC and other police checks for the countries you have been working in for the past ten years or your whole working life, whichever is shorter. In the final stages before appointments are made we will follow up with written and verbal reference checks from previous employers. Any offer of appointment will be subject to the above checks being successfully completed and work visa approval by the Thai authorities.
Interviews for short listed candidates will take place where possible in person in London or Bangkok or online if this is not possible.
