About This Role

Are you a passionate, student-centered Mathematics teacher who inspires curiosity, builds confidence, and nurtures a genuine love for learning? Do you thrive in a collaborative environment that emphasizes personalized learning and the overall well-being of students?

At Nün Academy, we champion teamwork, creativity, and personal growth, forming a distinctive educational community. We are currently seeking an exceptional Teacher of Mathematics to join our expanding Secondary & Senior School. The ability to teach IB Diploma Economics would be a valuable asset.

Your role will involve:

Creating and delivering engaging, impactful Mathematics lessons for KS3, IGCSE, and IB Diploma (DP) levels, aligned with the Cambridge/UK/DP curriculum framework.

Improving students' fluency, reasoning, and problem-solving skills across all key mathematical domains—number, algebra, geometry, trigonometry, statistics, and calculus.

Preparing students for success in IGCSE Mathematics and IB Diploma Mathematics (Applications and Interpretation), as well as IB Diploma Economics.

Leveraging data and assessments to inform planning, differentiation, and personalized interventions, while providing clear and constructive feedback to students and their families.

Participating in co-curricular mathematics enrichment activities such as Olympiads, math clubs, or mentoring programs that encourage creativity and challenge.

Adhering to best practices in safeguarding, inclusion, and well-being, while promoting a culture of curiosity, respect, and academic excellence.

Collaborating within the Mathematics Department on curriculum mapping, vertical progression, assessment design, and resource development.

What we seek:

A degree in Mathematics, Mathematics Education, or a closely related field, along with a recognized teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE/QTS or an international equivalent).

Demonstrated experience teaching within the Cambridge and/or UK curriculum, with successful outcomes at IGCSE level and ideally at IB Diploma level.

Experience with A-Level Mathematics will be considered advantageous.

Strong classroom management skills with inclusive strategies for multilingual learners and effective integration of digital tools.

A reflective educator who embodies a collaborative spirit, a growth mindset, and a strong commitment to student well-being and holistic education.

What we provide:

An inclusive, values-driven culture with high expectations and exceptional professional development opportunities.

Opportunities for career advancement and collaboration within a forward-thinking international environment.

A competitive international compensation package (details will be shared with shortlisted candidates).

Safeguarding:

Nün Academy is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. All appointments are subject to satisfactory background checks and references (e.g., ACRO/DBS or international police checks).
