About This Role

Dubai Heights Academy is on the lookout for an experienced Secondary Science Teacher to become part of our team starting in August 2025.

Dubai Heights Academy

Situated in the Al Barsha South area of Dubai, Dubai Heights Academy is a friendly and inviting workplace. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate and motivating Science (Chemistry) teacher.

Established in 2017, the school provides an inclusive, engaging, and high-quality education to an international cohort of students ranging from FS1 to Year 12 (2025-2026) and will continue to expand organically to Year 13.

Our state-of-the-art campus features separate buildings for each educational phase, a 380-seat auditorium, three temperature-controlled swimming pools, well-equipped science and computer laboratories, specialized rooms for art, design technology, music, and drama, a library, two multipurpose sports halls, a full-size football pitch, various outdoor play areas, and a spacious canteen. The academic year 2025-2026 will mark the opening of a new secondary building, greatly enhancing our existing facilities.

Dubai Heights Academy offers a curriculum tailored to meet the diverse needs of our students, based on the National Curriculum for England. This curriculum has been adapted to comply with local standards and supplemented with Arabic language, Islamic Studies, Moral Education, and Social Studies. Additionally, Dubai Heights Academy has collaborated with the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) to create and implement a customized AI (artificial intelligence) project-based program for secondary students, as well as an early language initiative employing social robots for primary students, enriching our comprehensive curriculum.

Our guiding philosophy is encapsulated in our school ethos: “Every Child, Every Mind, and Everybody matters.” We firmly believe that every student is entitled to the highest quality education, irrespective of their background or abilities.
