About This Role

Due to a rise in student enrollment, Al Rabeeh Academy is on the lookout for a passionate, flexible, and dedicated Secondary Maths Lead Teacher (Suitable for ECT Teachers) to start immediately or in January.

As a bilingual private school catering to students from FS1 to Year 13, Al Rabeeh Academy follows the English National Curriculum alongside Arabic. Candidates must demonstrate an understanding of the ethos and values of Al Rabeeh Academy, particularly given our significant population of Arabic-speaking students. The successful applicant will be a strong communicator, adept at fostering open dialogue with students, staff, and parents. It is essential that applicants lead by example and actively engage in the Academy's extracurricular activities.

Applicants should be fluent in English, hold a relevant degree along with a teaching qualification, and possess at least 2 years of experience teaching in institutions that adhere to the National Curriculum of England.

Applicants must be able to showcase:

• Professional leadership and management of the English curriculum area, in line with national standards and school policies.
• Delivery of an appropriate curriculum for our students while maintaining the school's objectives and policies.
• Ability to inspire colleagues with a vision and commitment to values, ensuring high-quality teaching, effective resource utilization, and enhanced learning outcomes for all students.
• Execution of standard teacher responsibilities through a well-structured teaching program.
• Support for the professional development of educators and improvement of overall teaching practices.
• Oversight of student progress and development in Maths, while serving as a form tutor.
• Promotion of Maths outside regular school hours, exhibiting excellent subject knowledge of the national curriculum.
• Strong classroom management abilities, expertise in Maths, and capacity to teach across KS3 and KS4, with an emphasis on 21st-century learning, IT integration, and EAL student support.
• Experience with teaching 'A' levels.
• Ability to foster creative learning and cultivate 21st-century learning environments and innovation skills.
• Confidence in using technology to enhance and extend student learning experiences.
• Experience in utilizing data from internal assessments and standardized tests to monitor student progress.
• Essential experience in teaching EAL students.
