Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement engaging, inquiry-driven lessons that spark curiosity, promote critical thinking, and foster a passion for learning.
- Establish a supportive and inclusive classroom atmosphere that recognizes and nurtures individual strengths and learning preferences.
- Tailor teaching methods to accommodate the varied needs of all students, including those with EAL, gifted learners, and those needing additional support.
- Incorporate technology and innovative strategies to enrich student learning and engagement.
- Effectively assess, document, and communicate student progress, utilizing data to guide instruction and personalized assistance.
- Collaborate with fellow educators to create and enhance IB-aligned curriculum plans, resources, and assessments.
- Actively participate in the broader school community through co-curricular activities, events, and outreach initiatives.
- Foster positive relationships with parents and the wider school community to promote student development and wellbeing.
- Engage in continual professional development and self-reflection to improve teaching practices.
- Embrace and exemplify the GEMS values and the IB Learner Profile in all aspects of school life.
