Position Overview:
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Pre-K International Teacher to join our early years team. The ideal candidate will be a caring educator dedicated to fostering the social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development of our youngest students in a multicultural setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive classroom environment that promotes inquiry-based learning.
- Develop and implement a engaging, age-appropriate curriculum that aligns with our school's philosophy.
- Observe and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback and maintaining open communication with parents.
- Collaborate effectively with fellow teachers, teaching assistants, and school leadership.
- Participate in school events, professional development, and staff meetings.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Fluency in English.
- Professional fluency in German is mandatory.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Early Childhood Education, Education, or a related field.
- A minimum of 2 years of proven experience teaching in a kindergarten or early years setting.
- Must be able to provide professional reference letters from previous employers.
- Understanding of child development and best practices for early childhood education.
- Culturally sensitive, adaptable, and a positive team player.
Preferred Qualifications (Pluses):
- Proficiency in Mandarin Chinese is a significant advantage.
- Familiarity with international or bilingual educational frameworks.
- Ability to contribute to co-curricular activities.
