Dubai British School Jumeirah Park is excited to announce an opening for a qualified and experienced Pastoral Support Assistant.
We are looking for a Pastoral Support Assistant to become a part of our dynamic school community, located in the vibrant Jumeirah Park area. This position is classified as a Learning Assistant (LA) role on a local contract, offering a salary range of AED 5,000 to AED 7,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
Requirements:
- A Level 3 Counselling qualification or a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology
- Strong rapport-building skills with both children and adults
- Child Protection Level 2-3 training (preferred)
- Willingness to participate in courses (such as Mental Health First Aid, counselling/therapy courses)
- Ability to work effectively within a multi-disciplinary team, understanding classroom roles and responsibilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
