Pastoral Support Assistant

Dubai British School Jumeirah Park is currently in search of a qualified and experienced Pastoral Support Assistant to join our vibrant school community located in the heart of Jumeirah Park.

This role is categorized as a Learning Assistant (LA) position under a local contract, offering a salary between AED 5,000 and AED 7,000, depending on qualifications and experience.

Requirements:
- A Level 3 Counselling qualification or a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology
- Strong ability to connect with both children and adults
- Preferably trained in Child Protection Level 2-3
- Willingness to participate in courses such as Mental Health First Aid and counseling/therapy
- Capacity to work collaboratively as part of a multi-disciplinary team, understanding classroom roles and responsibilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
