The Role

We require a fixed-term mathematics teacher to join our kura. We’re looking for a kaiako dedicated to helping ākonga master and enjoy mathematics. The successful applicant will teach approximately 8 teaching periods a week, covering students from Year 9 and potentially up to Level 1 NCEA.

Key Responsibilities

• Support all ākonga to flourish in their mathematical learning journeys.


• Maintain a belief that everyone can achieve at the highest levels.


• Commit to our co-curricular programme.

Qualifications

• Must be a NZ registered teacher.


• Understanding and ability to teach using culturally responsive and relational pedagogy.


• Commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi.
