The Role
We are seeking a fixed-term mathematics teacher to join Hillmorton High School, a diverse urban coeducational school situated in the South-West of Christchurch. The successful applicant will teach approximately 8 teaching periods a week, covering students from Year 9 and potentially up to Level 1 NCEA.
Key Responsibilities
- Support all ākonga to flourish in their mathematical learning journeys.
- Demonstrate persistence and a belief that everyone can achieve at the highest levels.
- Commit to Te Tiriti o Waitangi and teach using culturally responsive and relational pedagogy.
- Engage in our co-curricular programme.
Qualifications
- Must be a NZ registered teacher.
