About BISAK
BISAK is one of the oldest British Curriculum Schools in Saudi Arabia. The school transitioned to a new campus after operating for 22 years at its previous location (1998-2018). Our campus is situated in the new residential area of As Sadafah in Al Khobar.
BISAK is a co-educational international school offering a British-style education to approximately 930 students aged 3 to 18. The school operates under Saudi Arabian Law as a private, non-profit institution and is registered with the Ministry of Education of Saudi Arabia as a "Foreign Community School." It is also recognized by the Department for Education (DfE) in the UK.
Our goal at BISAK is to deliver the best possible British education while enriching students' educational experiences with the vibrancy of local culture. The school’s distinct British character is a key attraction for families and staff, complemented by our excellent reputation with the Ministry of Education, KSA. We take pride in our diverse community, as BISAK students represent over 50 nationalities, creating a unique experience unlike any in the UK. Parents appreciate the school's innovative teaching approach, which aligns with current UK and international initiatives, as evident from the numerous positive communications we receive from both current and former families.
Our pupils achieve high standards academically and beyond, guided by our school values:
B - Belief – fostering positive attitudes, consideration, and helping others.
I - Internationalism – developing as global citizens.
S - Success – embracing continuous learning in all endeavors.
A - Aspiration – believing that nothing is impossible.
K - Knowledge – understanding ourselves, each other, and the world around us.
We are a selective school. All students undergo an admission and assessment process and must meet our minimum requirements to enroll. Consequently, we do not maintain a dedicated SEN department. Given the nature of our student body, English is not the first language for many. However, students are required to have a good level of English proficiency upon entry, so extensive support is not necessary. Nonetheless, assistance is available across the curriculum and specifically through English lessons when needed.
