About BISAK:
BISAK is one of the oldest British Curriculum Schools in Saudi Arabia, having relocated to a new campus after 22 years at our previous site (1998-2018). Our school is situated on a large campus in the new residential area of As Sadafah in Al Khobar.
As a co-educational international school, BISAK offers a British-style education to approximately 930 students aged 3-18. The school operates under Saudi Arabian law as a private, non-profit institution and is registered with the Saudi Ministry of Education as a ‘Foreign Community School,’ as well as with the UK’s Department for Education (DfE).
BISAK strives to provide the best possible British education while enriching the educational experience of pupils with the local culture. The distinctive British character of the school attracts families and staff alike, supported by our excellent standing with the Ministry of Education, KSA. We take pride in our diverse community, with BISAK students representing over 50 nationalities, creating a unique experience for our children that is unlike any in the UK. Parents appreciate our innovative approach to teaching and learning, consistently staying current with UK and international initiatives, as reflected in the feedback we receive from both current and former families.
Our pupils achieve high standards academically and beyond, guided by our school values:
- B Belief – fostering positive attitudes, consideration, and assistance to others.
- I Internationalism – evolving as global citizens.
- S Success – embracing continuous learning in all endeavors.
- A Aspiration – believing that nothing is impossible.
- K Knowledge – understanding ourselves, each other, and the world around us.
We are a selective institution. All students undergo an admission and assessment process and must fulfill our minimum requirements to secure a place. As such, we do not have a dedicated SEN department. Given the nature of our student body, English is not their first language; however, all incoming students are expected to possess a good level of English proficiency, minimizing the need for extensive support. Nonetheless, we offer assistance across the curriculum and directly through English lessons when students require additional help.
