About This Role

Stowmarket High School are seeking to appoint a flexible, responsible and reliable invigilator to join our team and support the smooth and fair running of examinations throughout the school year. Experience is not essential as training and continued support will be given.

This is a casual, part-time position with flexible hours, making it ideal for those looking for work that can fit around other commitments. The hours will be variable between 8:15am and 4:00pm.

As an Exam Invigilator, you will help ensure examinations are conducted in a calm, secure and consistent environment. Duties will include:

  • Preparing examination rooms and materials
  • Supervising students during examinations
  • Ensuring examination regulations and procedures are followed
  • Monitoring students throughout the exam
  • Dealing appropriately with any issues that arise
  • Collection and securing examination papers at the end of each session

You will be:

  • Reliable, punctual and well organised
  • Calm and confident when working with young people
  • Able to follow instructions and examination procedures carefully
  • Able to maintain high levels of confidentiality

Compensation

£13.05 Hourly Grade 2, point 4 (£13.05 p/h)
