Early Years or Year 1 Teacher
About This Role
About the School
The British Early Years Centre (BEYC) is a premier international Early Years institution located in Ari, Bangkok, catering to children aged 2 to 6 years. We are committed to a child-centered, play-driven, and nature-focused curriculum that integrates the British Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) with the Reggio Emilia philosophy. This distinctive combination creates dynamic teaching opportunities, ensuring that the voices of children are always emphasized.
Our setting fosters learning in both indoor and outdoor environments, equipped with thoughtfully chosen sustainable toys and materials. We prioritize engaging, play-based lessons infused with interactive activities for Phonics and Maths. Educators are encouraged to design their lessons around the children's current interests while maximizing opportunities for play, nature, and independent exploration. Our health-conscious philosophy includes a nutritious menu accommodating various allergies, utilizing organic ingredients and cleaning supplies.
With a focus on small class sizes and a high teacher-to-student ratio—capping at 16 students per class supported by 3 Learning Assistants—BEYC distinguishes itself in Bangkok. All Learning Assistants maintain a high level of English proficiency, and many have been part of our community for several years.
We are excited to announce that we will be relocating to a new purpose-built campus in August 2025, situated near our current location. For more information about this transition, please check our Instagram, Facebook, and website, with further details provided during the interview process.
