About This Role

Dubai Heights Academy is on the lookout for a skilled Computer Science & Digital Literacy Lead (Primary) to join our team starting in August 2025.

Dubai Heights Academy is eager to welcome a motivated and inspiring Computer Science & Digital Literacy Lead (Primary) teacher. Our school is a friendly and inviting environment located in the Al Barsha South area of Dubai, presenting an exciting opportunity to integrate into our dedicated team.

Established in 2017, Dubai Heights Academy provides an inclusive, engaging, and outstanding educational experience to a diverse international community of students from FS1 through Year 12 (2025-2026), with plans to expand to Year 13. Our state-of-the-art campus features separate buildings for each educational phase and a 380-seat auditorium. Additional facilities include three temperature-controlled swimming pools, fully equipped science and computer laboratories, specialized rooms for art, design technology, music, and drama, a library, two multipurpose sports halls, a full-size football pitch, various outdoor play spaces, and a spacious canteen. The academic year 2025-2026 will also see the introduction of a brand-new secondary building, further enhancing our facilities.

Our curriculum is designed to meet the diverse needs of all students, following the National Curriculum for England as its foundation, while also incorporating local requirements. This curriculum is further enriched by Arabic language, Islamic Studies, Moral Education, and Social Studies. Moreover, Dubai Heights Academy has partnered with MIT (Massachusetts Institute of Technology) to create and implement a tailored AI (artificial intelligence) project-based program for secondary students and an early language program utilizing social robots for Primary students, enriching our broad and balanced curriculum.

Job Overview

Dubai Heights Academy invites applications from enthusiastic and skilled Computer Science teachers with a strong grasp of the subject who can contribute to ongoing improvements in student progress and achievement.

We seek candidates who are well-qualified, self-motivated, adaptable, creative, and eager to join a team dedicated to academic excellence.

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

- A B.Ed. or a degree with a PGCE / PGDE or equivalent, demonstrating exceptional subject knowledge
- A minimum of 3 years of experience with the National Curriculum for England
- Proven experience in promoting digital literacy across the Primary school.
