The academy is seeking to appoint a motivated, dedicated and aspirational Assistant Principal to join the team at BOA Digital Technologies Academy. This is a pivotal role for an exceptional leader who is passionate about improving student outcomes, developing staff, and shaping a culture of high expectations, inclusion and ambition.
This is a crucial appointment at a significant stage in the academy’s development. As the school prepares to welcome its first Year 11 cohort in September 2026 and looks ahead to the launch of a specialist Sixth Form in September 2027, the successful candidate will play a key role in shaping the next phase of the academy’s growth and ensuring strong outcomes for all students.

THE ROLE:
BOA Digital Technologies Academy is seeking to appoint an exceptional Assistant Principal to join a committed and ambitious leadership team.
As Assistant Principal, you will play a central role in driving school improvement, leading a key area of whole-school responsibility and contributing to the strategic and operational leadership of the academy. You will be accountable for securing high standards of achievement, behaviour and personal development, while ensuring that all students are supported to succeed.
The successful candidate will lead one of two key portfolios:
• Behaviour, Safeguarding and Attendance, or
• Quality of Education and Sixth Form
You will work closely with the Principal and Vice Principal to deliver the Academy Development Plan, ensuring measurable and sustained impact on student outcomes. You will line manage staff, hold colleagues to account, and develop high-performing teams through coaching, professional development and clear accountability.
You will champion a culture of high expectations and continuous improvement, ensuring that systems and strategies are implemented consistently and effectively across the academy.
Through your leadership, you will ensure that all students—including disadvantaged and vulnerable learners—are supported to achieve their full potential.
As a visible and credible leader, you will play a key role in the day-to-day running of the academy, modelling professionalism, building strong relationships with stakeholders, and contributing to a positive and inclusive school culture.
