The Role

We seek an inspiring and skilled Art Teacher to motivate and engage students from Year 5 to Year 8. This is a fantastic chance to be part of our rapidly growing network of schools and to help develop creativity and artistic confidence in our learners.

Key Responsibilities


• Deliver Art lessons in accordance with the British curriculum.
• Create and implement engaging, creative, and challenging lesson plans.
• Participate in curriculum development and collaborative lesson planning.
• Promote experimentation across various media, techniques, and artistic styles.
• Track and evaluate student progress, offering constructive feedback.
• Cultivate a positive, inclusive, and stimulating educational atmosphere.
• Contribute to exhibitions, competitions, and the broader extracurricular activities of the school.

Qualifications and Experience

Essential


• A recognized teaching qualification (e.g., B.Ed, PGCE, PGDE, or equivalent) from a UK university.
• A degree specializing in Fine Art or Art and Design.
• Experience teaching Art in a British curriculum environment.
• Strong skills in lesson planning and curriculum development.
• High motivation for teaching combined with a positive, enthusiastic demeanor.
• Ability to collaborate effectively as part of a team.

Desirable


• Proven experience teaching in the UK.
• Experience assisting students’ transition into Key Stage 3 and beyond.
• Capacity to contribute to an additional subject or enrichment activity.
• Recent experience in a UK or international school setting.

Please note: Due to work visa regulations in Qatar, applicants must be under the age of 50.
