About This Role

Bloom World Academy is on the lookout for a compassionate, skilled, and committed Learning Support Teacher to become part of our team starting in August 2026.

As an IB World School, Bloom World Academy prioritizes inclusive, student-centered education that fosters the academic, social, and emotional growth of every student. The ideal candidate will be instrumental in assisting students with additional learning needs, ensuring their full integration and success in the classroom setting.

You should possess experience or a strong understanding of inquiry-based and play-focused learning methodologies, demonstrating expertise in tailoring educational provisions to accommodate a wide range of learning requirements. Your role will involve supporting students both during lessons and through specialized interventions, collaborating closely with teachers to guarantee effective differentiation and accessibility to the curriculum.

The successful applicant will be a warm and reflective educator, equipped with outstanding interpersonal abilities and a proven track record of establishing positive, trusting relationships with students, colleagues, and parents. You will exemplify high standards in both written and verbal communication, along with a sincere enthusiasm for inclusion, student wellbeing, and advocacy.

We are in search of a seasoned Learning Support Teacher who can work collaboratively with classroom teachers, the SENDco, and leadership teams to assist students throughout the school. You will play a vital role in the creation and implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs), tracking student development, and aiding in the application of evidence-based intervention strategies.

While familiarity with the IB Primary Years Programme (PYP) is highly desirable, it is not a prerequisite, as comprehensive training will be provided. You should have a solid understanding of SEND provisions, assessment for learning, and inclusive practices, with a dedicated aim to help students reach their full potential.

The BWA Community

Staff members are expected to be approachable, cheerful, and proactive in nurturing positive relationships with families. Everyone is encouraged to participate in and lead community initiatives and events, infusing creativity and enthusiasm into the school environment.
