About This Role
The British School of Barcelona (BSB) stands as a prominent international institution and is affiliated with HMC. A recent BSO inspection rated the school as outstanding across all categories, encompassing educational quality, safeguarding, student welfare, and academic achievements.
BSB serves over 2000 students aged 3 to 18, making it a large and highly sought-after school. Our curriculum is anchored in the English National Curriculum, providing a broad selection of GCSEs, A levels, and the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme, complemented by an extensive enrichment program.
With a diverse student body representing more than 74 nationalities and a dedicated staff of over 315, BSB operates across three campuses. Two of these campuses are located just outside Barcelona in Castelldefels, which houses Primary, Secondary, and Pre-University facilities, and Sitges, where we have another Primary campus. BSB City, situated in central Barcelona, features a Foundation campus that opened in September 2021 and a newly established main campus that opened in September 2023. We are set to launch a cutting-edge campus in Maresme, east of Barcelona city, in September 2026.
Barcelona offers a fantastic living experience, blending the vibrancy of city life with the beauty of nearby beaches and mountains. The city boasts an excellent quality of life, characterized by a mild climate and abundant sunshine throughout the year.
