We are in search of a committed and skilled Male Bilingual School Counsellor (English & Arabic) to join our team starting in August 2026. This position presents a fulfilling opportunity for a caring professional dedicated to enhancing student wellbeing and fostering a positive, inclusive educational atmosphere.
The ideal candidate will:
Possess a relevant degree in Counselling, Psychology, or a related discipline, along with appropriate professional accreditation if required
Be proficient in both spoken and written English and Arabic
Have substantial experience working with children and adolescents in a school context
Exhibit a comprehensive understanding of safeguarding and child protection in accordance with KCSIE (Keeping Children Safe in Education) and BSO standards, including early detection, reporting processes, and collaborative work with various agencies
Be equipped to deliver high-quality emotional, behavioral, and social support, including conducting risk assessments and creating intervention plans
Collaborate effectively with the Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL), colleagues, parents, and external organizations to enhance student wellbeing
Ensure the maintenance of accurate, confidential, and secure records in compliance with data protection and safeguarding regulations
Adhere to the highest standards of professional behavior, maintaining appropriate boundaries and a child-centered focus at all times
