ROLE SUMMARY:
King’s College School Soto de Viñuelas, a distinguished British international institution in Spain, is on the lookout for a skilled and energetic IB Diploma Programme Coordinator to join the Senior School starting in late August 2026. The selected individual will take charge of the implementation and advancement of the IBDP, while also teaching Business, Economics, or a Science subject based on their area of expertise.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Lead and manage the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP) throughout the school.
•
Ensure the delivery of high-quality teaching, effective assessment, and adherence to IB standards and practices.
•
Provide support and direction to teachers delivering IB courses, encouraging teamwork and professional growth.
•
Track student progress and academic results, upholding the school’s high achievement standards.
•
Teach IBDP and/or Senior School classes in Business, Economics, or a Science subject.
•
Collaborate closely with senior leadership on curriculum development and student university readiness.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:
•
A relevant degree and a recognized teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE or equivalent).
•
Experience teaching within the IB Diploma Programme, preferably in Business, Economics, or Sciences.
•
Previous experience in IB coordination or academic leadership (preferred).
•
Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
•
A strong commitment to maintaining high academic standards and fostering student success in an international school context.
