What You’ll Do
• Teach dynamic and impactful General Science lessons for KS3 and IGCSE, as well as Physics at the IB Diploma level.
• Create inquiry-based learning experiences that enhance scientific reasoning, experimentation, and practical application.
• Utilize both formative and summative assessments to guide instruction and deliver clear, constructive feedback to students and their families.
• Work closely with colleagues in the Science Department to ensure curriculum coherence and interdisciplinary connections.
• Engage in the broader school community through clubs, enrichment programs, and pastoral support.
About You
• A Bachelor’s degree in Physics Science Education or a related discipline.
• A recognized teaching qualification (PGCE/QTS or its international equivalent).
• Proven experience teaching KS3 and IGCSE Science, and preferably IB DP Physics (or A-Level).
• Strong knowledge of the subject, inclusive teaching practices, and proficient use of digital learning technologies.
• A reflective educator with excellent communication skills, a collaborative mindset, and a dedication to student wellbeing and safeguarding.
