Clarence International School in Tokyo is on the lookout for a remarkable leader to join our team as the Assistant Head of Pre-Prep during an exciting phase of the school's evolution. This is a pivotal moment for Clarence International School as we prepare to transition to a new campus located in the vibrant heart of Central Tokyo in April 2026. This role offers the chance to take on a key leadership position in shaping the future of a dynamic and ambitious British Pre-Prep school in Tokyo.
The Assistant Head of Pre-Prep will serve as the lead administrator on campus, overseeing the daily management, leadership, and development of the school. Collaborating closely with the Head of School and the Board of Directors, the successful candidate will guide staff, manage operations, and uphold the highest standards of teaching, learning, and pastoral care for our youngest learners.
We are looking for an exemplary Early Years or Pre-Prep educator with a track record of effective leadership, sound judgement, and a genuine enthusiasm for working with young children. The ideal candidate will embody warmth and kindness while maintaining clarity, professionalism, and high expectations, and will be eager to contribute to the creation and growth of an exceptional school community.
