About BASIS Bilingual School Guangzhou
Scheduled to open in the fall of 2026, BASIS Bilingual School Guangzhou will be the second BASIS institution in the city and its first bilingual campus. Situated in the Haizhu District, the school is strategically located within the city’s Artificial Intelligence and Digital Economy Pilot Zone, close to vital business and commerce areas. The school will offer grades from kindergarten to 9 and plans to expand to Grade 12, accommodating up to 1,900 students. Facilities will feature a lecture hall, library, black box theater, swimming pool, observatory, gymnasiums, laboratories, multifunctional classrooms for arts, music, and innovation, as well as other cutting-edge amenities.
As a Kindergarten teacher at BASIS International, you will cultivate an environment where education is both enjoyable and fulfilling, inspiring children to become enthusiastic, lifelong learners. Our thematic, hands-on, and content-rich curriculum lays a strong foundation for students as they move into elementary grades. Our early education instructors are driven by the belief that every child can thrive with the right support.
The early childhood classroom is thoughtfully constructed to spark a child's innate curiosity to create, explore, and inquire. Our Early Childhood teachers employ a collaborative, co-teaching strategy to boost student engagement and enhance learning experiences. The Subject Expert Teacher (SET) and Learning Enhancement Teacher (LET) work together to introduce concepts, ensuring that each student receives comprehensive subject knowledge, personalized attention, and suitable engagement.

Who We’re Seeking
• Educational Qualifications: A Bachelor’s degree in your subject area (Elementary and Early Education degrees are highly regarded for Pre-K through Grade 5).
• Experience: A minimum of two years as the lead teacher in a classroom, a prerequisite for obtaining a work visa.
• Teamwork: A collaborative spirit eager to learn from and share with colleagues from around the globe.
