Key Responsibilities & Duties
1. Teaching & Learning
•
Design, prepare, and present engaging lessons in Mathematics and Physics that align with the school's curriculum.
•
Utilize a range of teaching strategies to accommodate different learning styles and proficiency levels.
•
Merge language learning goals with content in Mathematics and Physics to enhance academic language skills in both areas.
•
Effectively use educational technology to boost student engagement and learning.
2. Assessment & Reporting
•
Create and implement formative and summative assessments to track student progress in Mathematics and Physics.
•
Offer timely, constructive, and actionable feedback to students.
•
Keep precise records of student achievements and compile detailed student reports.
•
Evaluate assessment data to guide future teaching methods and intervention strategies.
3. Classroom Management & Student Support
•
Foster a secure, respectful, inclusive, and dynamic learning environment.
•
Set and uphold clear expectations for student behavior and classroom protocols.
•
Recognize and address the unique learning needs of each student, including those who require additional challenges or support.
4. Professional & Community Engagement
•
Work collaboratively with colleagues in both academic and administrative departments.
•
Engage actively in departmental meetings, school-wide training, and professional development initiatives.
•
Communicate professionally and effectively with students, parents, and colleagues regarding student progress.
•
Contribute to the broader school community through involvement in events, clubs, or committees.
Qualifications & Requirements
Education & Certification
•
A Bachelor's degree in Education, Mathematics/Physics, or a closely related discipline.
•
Experience
•
At least 2 years of teaching experience in Mathematics and Physics.
Language Proficiency
•
Fluency in German at a native or near-native level.
•
Professional English proficiency adequate for collaboration, reporting, and communication within the school environment.
Knowledge & Skills
•
Strong content expertise in both Mathematics and Physics.
•
Exceptional classroom management, communication, and interpersonal abilities.
•
Proficiency in standard educational technologies and platforms.
