Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with fellow educators to design and implement an effective instructional program that aligns with clearly defined curricular and school objectives
• Undertake additional duties as assigned by Senior Leaders
Qualifications and Experience:
• A Bachelor’s Degree in Education, or a Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant subject area, particularly Mathematics, along with a Postgraduate Diploma in Education or an equivalent teaching qualification, including at least 10 weeks of practicum experience is required
• Teacher training/education recognized by Alberta Education
• Previous experience teaching Mathematics and/or relevant subjects at the high school level is preferred
• A high level of proficiency in both spoken and written English is essential
• While not mandatory, please indicate any experience with IB or AP programs
• Candidates who embrace the principles of Christian education are preferred
Effective Date of Employment
The position is set to commence in mid-August 2026. The initial contract duration is typically 2 years, with the possibility of renewable 2-year contracts based on mutual consent.
