IB Diploma Coordinator
About This Role
Are you a strategic leader in the International Baccalaureate (IB) who prioritizes student engagement and integrates standards into everyday practice? At Nun Academy, we are expanding our exceptional IB Diploma Programme, which is rooted in personalized education, academic integrity, and measurable outcomes. We are in search of a seasoned DP Coordinator to oversee the programme across our Girls’ and Boys’ campuses while also teaching around 50% of a relevant upper-secondary subject (flexible).
Your Leadership Role
•
Developing the DP vision, creating an annual action plan, and conducting self-evaluations in accordance with IB Programme Standards & Practices, as well as preparing for authorisation and evaluation.
•
Managing IBIS operations and ensuring compliance (registrations, subject approvals, timelines) while delivering the Core components (TOK/CAS/EE) with excellence.
•
Collaborating with timetabling leads to establish curriculum and timetable parameters (HL/SL pathways, languages, Core scheduling).
•
Overseeing the assessment policy and calendar (IAs, mocks, predicted grades, academic honesty) with uniform moderation and standardization.
•
Utilizing data to track progress (CAT4 baselines, IA/mocks, predicted versus actual outcomes, value-added) to inform interventions and reporting.
•
Facilitating post-results processes, aligning university guidance, and managing communications with parents.
•
Fostering staff development through IB workshops, onboarding, and coaching while ensuring the consistent use of ManageBac for courses, gradebooks, and deadlines.
About You
•
Extensive and successful experience as a DP Coordinator (or as a Deputy with full programme responsibilities).
•
Demonstrated proficiency in IB authorisation and evaluation, IBIS administration, IA moderation, predicted grades, and post-results services.
•
Strong leadership skills in curriculum and assessment, encompassing HL/SL planning and oversight of the Core (TOK/CAS/EE).
•
Data-driven, collaborative, and composed under pressure; exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
•
Proficient in ManageBac and digital workflows; dedicated to safeguarding and promoting inclusive practices.
