About This Role
Southern Cross Campus is a Y1-15 composite school in South Auckland with a reputation for being loyal, passionate and a hardworking school community.
We are looking for a Years 9 to 13 English teacher who will bring to this role, New Zealand curriculum knowledge, build strong pastoral relationships with our students, and have empathy with our school community whānau.
The successful candidate must support the proud character of Southern Cross Campus and contribute to the school's co-curricular life.
Applicants must be registered with the New Zealand Teaching Council.
The base salary for trained and registered teachers will range from 62k to 90k, depending on the applicant's qualifications and experience. Individuals' actual base salary will be established by a salary assessment once a role is confirmed.

Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality English instruction to students in Years 9 to 13.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with students and their families.

Qualifications
- Registered with the New Zealand Teaching Council.
- Experience in teaching English at the secondary level.
- Knowledge of the New Zealand curriculum.
