About This Role

Job Title: Secondary English Teacher

Kuwait National English School (KNES), a leading educational institution in Kuwait, is dedicated to providing outstanding education to a diverse student population. As an Accredited British School Overseas, we are looking for candidates who are Native English Speakers and UK Citizens. We are currently seeking a committed and experienced Secondary English Teacher with a background in teaching IGCSE and A Levels to join our team on a full-time permanent basis for the 2026-2027 Academic Year.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in English
  • PGCE in Education
  • QTS Certificate
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in secondary education
  • QTS is preferred
  • In-depth knowledge of curriculum development and implementation
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to create engaging lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles
  • Strong understanding and alignment with the Mission and Philosophy of KNES
  • Proficiency in using technology for educational purposes

Compensation

£30,000 - £45,000+ (Regional Equivalent)
