Mō tēnei tūranga mahi | About this position
It's an exciting time at Te Kura and we are looking for an innovative and collaborative team leader to join our Te Kāhui Hauāuru team based in our Hamilton, Rotorua or Tauranga tari.
You will provide leadership and effective management for their team and will be an essential driver within the school for maintaining the delivery of high-quality teaching and learning in their team.
You'll have an in-depth understanding of big picture principles and implementation, great interpersonal skills and have a proven record of managing a team in the education sector, plus a track record of working positively to deliver on organisational strategic direction. You'll manage the teaching team, assist with building a dynamic teaching and learning environment and ensure the delivery of high-quality teaching and pastoral support to our ākonga.
This is an exciting opportunity for anyone with proven experience as a Year 1 to 10 kaiako who is keen to further develop their expertise in:
- leadership and management, including performance and staff development
- enabling ākonga to achieve
- planning and assessment, and
- effective relationship management.
There is a teaching component to this role so applicants must be trained teachers with current NZ registration and relevant qualifications.
