About This Role
We seek an inspirational teacher to teach PE Years 7 to 13. Our Sport facilities include two Sports Halls, a 9-a-side floodlit 3G pitch, a multipurpose outdoor court and a 20m pool, shared across the Primary and Secondary school.
We offer a contextualised English National Curriculum in Years 7 and 8, Edexcel GCSE PE Years 9 β11 and IB DP Sports Exercise and Health Science (SEHS). GCSE PE and SEHS are very popular option choices and experience in teaching these programmes is highly desirable.
Excellence in teaching and learning and a commitment to contributing to our thriving sports programme are crucial for this role. We are members of FOBISIA and ACSIS, with high levels of participation and student interest in our Wolves sports teams. We attend the annual FOBISIA Games and participate in invitational tournaments. We recently introduced the UK Sport Leaders Award at multiple levels. We are particularly interested to hear from candidates with basketball and volleyball expertise.
