About the Role:
We are looking for a passionate and qualified English Teacher to join our school. The ideal candidate will have experience teaching within an English curriculum framework and a demonstrated ability to inspire students in literature, language, and critical thinking.
Key Responsibilities Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging English lessons aligned with the school’s curriculum (e.g., IGCSE, A-Level, or other recognized international programs). Teach English language, literature, and writing across middle and/or high school grade levels as assigned. Develop students’ reading, writing, speaking, and analytical skills through a variety of instructional strategies. Assess and monitor student progress through formative and summative assessments, providing timely and constructive feedback. Contribute to the school’s pastoral system, which may include serving as a homeroom teacher or academic advisor. Maintain regular communication with parents regarding student progress and classroom activities. Collaborate with the English department and cross-disciplinary teams on curriculum development, resource sharing, and school-wide initiatives. Bachelor’s degree or higher in English, English Education, Literature, or a related field. Valid teaching certification (e.g., PGCE, QTS, state license, or international equivalent). Minimum of 3 years of teaching experience in an international or bilingual school setting. Familiarity with international English curricula such as IGCSE, A-Level English. Strong classroom management skills and the ability to create an inclusive, motivating learning environment. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. Demonstrated commitment to professional growth and student-centered teaching.Requirements
