We are seeking an exceptional Teacher of English to join our expanding Secondary & Senior School.

What you’ll do

  • Deliver engaging, high-impact English lessons to our students  aligned to the Cambridge/UK curriculum.

  • Plan inquiry-rich learning that builds literacy, communication and critical-thinking skills.

  • Use assessment to inform teaching and interventions; provide clear, timely feedback to students and parents.

  • Contribute to the wider life of the school (tutoring, clubs, enrichment) and collaborate closely within the English department.

About you

  • Degree in English or a related field and a recognised teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE/QTS or international equivalent).

  • Successful experience teaching KS3/KS4 English within the Cambridge and/or UK curriculum and proven success at GCSE/IGCSE.   (A-Level or IB Diploma exposure an advantage).

  • Strong classroom practice, inclusive strategies for multilingual learners, and confident use of digital tools.

  • A growth mindset, excellent communication, and a commitment to safeguarding and student wellbeing.
