We are seeking to appoint a well-qualified and enthusiastic Chemistry Teacher, with the potential for Second in Department responsibility for the right candidate. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic and forward-thinking academic team in a school that values both innovation and tradition.
The successful candidate will teach Chemistry and another science at IGCSE and Chemistry IB Diploma level, with the possibility of teaching A Level in the future. Person Specification
A good honours degree in Chemistry or Science with Chemistry – Essential
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) for secondary education – Essential
Minimum 2 years’ experience in a UK secondary school – Essential
Proven success with IGCSE and IB exam results – Essential
Strong knowledge of the English National Curriculum – Essential
Experience in an international school setting – Desirable
Right to work in the EU – Desirable but not essential
Excellent communication skills and fluency in English – Essential
