GEMS Royal Dubai School is a vibrant, premium British curriculum school currently educating students from FS1 to Year 8. We are proudly expanding to Year 9 in September 2026, with a clear and strategic growth plan through to Year 13. As part of this exciting phase of growth, we are delighted to be opening a brand-new, purpose-built secondary campus in September 2026. This state-of-the-art facility will further enhance the world-class education we offer across two sites.

We are seeking a dynamic and passionate Art Teacher to join our team in September 2026. Experience teaching Design Technology would be desirable. The successful candidate will be self-motivated, ambitious, and committed to driving high standards and achieving excellence for all learners. This is an exciting opportunity to join a high-performing team and play a key role in shaping the next stage of our journey while upholding the Royal Standard.

Job Purpose

To teach Art as a subject specialist across Key Stages 1, 2 and 3, delivering an outstanding, holistic and engaging learning experience that leads to exceptionally high outcomes for all students.

Key Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate a strong commitment to excellence for every learner
  • Show secure and in-depth subject knowledge of the Art curriculum across Key Stages 1, 2 and 3 of the National Curriculum for England
  • Deliver consistently high-quality teaching and learning, working collaboratively and sharing best practice
  • Use student data effectively to personalise learning and maximise progress
  • Maintain a high-performance mindset, remaining reflective, solution-focused and proactive
  • Bring creativity, enthusiasm and innovation to the classroom
  • Uphold the highest standards of safeguarding and support students’ personal and social development
  • Build strong relationships with colleagues, students and parents through excellent interpersonal skills
  • Show aspiration to work in a world-class school with genuine opportunities for career progression
  • Contribute positively to the wider school community through extracurricular activities and community events
  • Engage actively in ongoing professional development
  • Carry out any other reasonable duties as directed by the CEO and Principal

Compensation
