About This Role
Are you a passionate, registered teacher looking to make a meaningful impact beyond the traditional classroom?
We are seeking a student support coordinator to support students with additional learning needs, working alongside teachers, students, and families to ensure every learner can thrive. Based at our Gore Campus.
About the role
- This is a dynamic, relationship-focused position where you will:
- Lead and coordinate support for students (Years 3–13)
- Promote inclusive practices and effective differentiation
- Develop and manage Individual Learning Plans (ILPs) and Behaviour Plans (IBPs)
- Support teachers to enhance student outcomes
- Coordinate external agencies and funded support services
- Oversee student support tracking, documentation, and reporting
- Guide Student Support Assistants (SSAs)
- Facilitate meetings with staff, students, and caregivers
- You will play a key role in supporting students academically, socially, and emotionally.
About you
You are a NZ registered teacher who
- Has a strong understanding of inclusive education
- Builds positive, collaborative relationships
- Is highly organised and confident managing systems and data
- Can lead processes and follow through on actions
- Is proactive, solutions-focused, and committed to student success
- Demonstrates empathy, professionalism, and attention to detail
- Experience in student support or working with external agencies is advantageous.

Additional information
This is a teaching position requiring current NZ teacher registration, with no regular classroom teaching load. An additional responsibilities allowance will apply.
