Specialist Literacy Learning Support Teacher

Tahatai Coast School is seeking an experienced and passionate educator to join our team as a specialist literacy teacher. The ideal candidate will be skilled in providing remedial teaching and accelerating student learning through evidence-based practices. You will work with students who need targeted literacy support, helping them close learning gaps and boost achievement. We are an ideal platform-based school, so LMiT training would be an advantage.

Key Responsibilities

• Delivering group instruction in literacy in years 1-3
• Using proven, research-based methods to support students in need of remedial help or accelerated learning
• Collaborating frequently with classroom teachers and parents to create personalised learning plans that ensure student success
• Reporting accurately on progress made and next learning steps.
