Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver compelling lessons aligned with the Cambridge curriculum, focusing on fostering a global perspective while integrating English language learning in collaboration with a national Portuguese teacher.
- Evaluate student progress and provide regular feedback to promote their academic and personal growth.
- Create an inclusive, supportive classroom environment that values diversity and promotes bilingual or multilingual learning.
- Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and the school community to enhance student learning and well-being.
- Work closely with the national Portuguese teacher to develop interdisciplinary lessons that meet the educational needs of our diverse student body.
- Participate in and contribute to professional development sessions and school-wide initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in education or a relevant field, with a teaching qualification.
- Proven experience in teaching the Cambridge curriculum at the primary level.
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with a national Portuguese teacher.
- A commitment to professional growth and a passion for integrating language learning into the curriculum.
