About This Role
Yas School is currently seeking to recruit a high-performing Literacy Coach to join our team in August 2026 for the AY 2026-2027 or sooner if possible.

Founded in 2015, we are the largest single-campus K-12 government school educating 1750+ girls and boys on our extensive campus.
The Role
As a Literacy Coach, you will be responsible for implementing targeted literacy strategies as described in the literacy improvement plan: providing coaching and support for targeted teachers, team teaching, supporting the delivery of student intervention programs and developing effective instructional plans and resources.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement targeted literacy strategies as per the literacy improvement plan.
- Provide coaching and support for targeted teachers.
- Engage in team teaching.
- Support the delivery of student intervention programs.
- Develop effective instructional plans and resources.
Qualifications
- Have a Bachelor’s Degree in Education or Post Graduate Diploma in Education.
- Master’s Degree in Education/Educational Leadership or a related field is an advantage.
- Be proficient in English (demonstrated by a minimum IELTS score of 6 or equivalent).
- Bilingual skills (English & Arabic) are highly desirable.
- Hold a UAE Certified Teaching License/ equivalent, or working towards attainment.
- Have 4+ years of classroom teaching experience in either English or Arabic subject area.
- Prior experience of coaching is an advantage.
